“i have a problem with the criminal justice system, it seems to me that justice should be for the victem”

if it is just for the victim, then would the guilty party’s guilt matter? after all if all which is needed is a victem to attribute guilt to the character for just punishment to be carried out, and justice- through peace of mind- be achieved?

if justice is about bring the victem to justice rather than the criminal to justice, does it even do anything or just act as a strong arm for parties to claim/pretend victemhood to get a power to act on their behalf?

shouldn’t the victem already be without guilt for them to be a victem?

  1. I think people who say criminal justice should be about the victim have a hard time accepting that sometimes the ”bad guys” win.
